Overview
Neuromodulation therapy encompasses advanced techniques that alter pain signal transmission within the nervous system to achieve long-lasting or sustained pain relief. Unlike injections that provide temporary anti-inflammatory benefit, neuromodulation acts at the nerve level itself — using precisely controlled radiofrequency energy to disrupt pain-conducting nerve fibres, or electrical stimulation to modulate pain signal processing. Dr Malik’s primary neuromodulation offering is radiofrequency ablation (RFA), which can provide 6–18 months of significant relief for appropriate patients.
